NEW YORK –Street Naming Ceremonies are a familiar event in certain areas of New York City, nowhere more than in Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge, where hundreds of firefighters, cops and civilians lost on September 11th called home.





Dozens of New York’s Bravest FDNY firefighters from local Brooklyn Firehouses line the newly named “Billy Lake Place” Street near the Engine Co. where he was stationed before September 11th.
